Refund & Returns Policy

At Spacepixel Australia, we want every customer to shop with confidence. This Refund & Returns Policy explains how returns, refunds, replacements and warranty-related issues are handled for purchases made through our online store.

This policy is designed to work alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

You may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund if a product has a major problem, is unsafe, is significantly different from the description, does not do what it is supposed to do, or does not meet the consumer guarantees that apply under Australian law.

Where a product has a minor problem, we may choose to provide a repair, replacement or refund depending on the issue and the circumstances.

Change of Mind Returns

We do not offer refunds for change of mind unless we choose to approve the return at our discretion.

A change of mind includes situations where:

  • you no longer want the item;
  • you selected the wrong product;
  • you found the product cheaper elsewhere;
  • you changed your mind after purchase;
  • you purchased the item by mistake.

If we approve a change of mind return, the item must be:

  • returned within 14 days of delivery;
  • unused and in brand-new condition;
  • in its original packaging;
  • complete with all accessories, manuals, cables, batteries, chargers, protective materials and included parts;
  • not damaged, marked, registered, activated or altered.

For approved change of mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

We reserve the right to refuse a change of mind return if the product is not returned in suitable condition.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, incomplete or different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible at:

Please include:

  • your order number;
  • a clear description of the issue;
  • photos or videos showing the problem;
  • photos of the packaging if the item arrived damaged.

Once we review the information, we will advise the next steps. Depending on the issue, this may include repair, replacement, refund or further inspection.

Please do not return any product before contacting us and receiving return instructions.

Items Damaged in Transit

If your order appears damaged during delivery, please keep all packaging and contact us immediately.

We may require photos of:

  • the external shipping box;
  • the internal packaging;
  • the damaged product;
  • the shipping label.

This helps us assess the issue and, where applicable, submit a claim with the carrier.

Non-Returnable Items

Unless required by Australian Consumer Law, we may not accept returns for:

  • opened memory cards or storage devices;
  • used batteries;
  • software, digital products or licence keys;
  • products that have been registered, activated or linked to an account;
  • products with missing serial numbers;
  • items damaged by misuse, accident, neglect or unauthorised modification;
  • products returned without original accessories or packaging;
  • clearance or final sale items where the issue was clearly disclosed before purchase.

This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law if the product has a fault or major problem.

Return Shipping

For approved change of mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

For faulty, incorrect or damaged items, we will provide instructions after reviewing your claim. Where required under Australian Consumer Law, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs.

We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service when returning products. Spacepixel Australia is not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit where the return shipping was arranged by the customer.

Refund Processing

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, the refund will be processed back to the original payment method used at checkout.

Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank, card provider or payment provider. Please allow several business days for the funds to appear in your account after the refund has been issued.

Exchanges and Replacements

Where available, we may offer a replacement or exchange for faulty or incorrect items.

If the replacement item is unavailable, we may offer a refund or alternative solution depending on the situation and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as quickly as possible.

We may be able to cancel your order if it has not yet been processed, packed or shipped. Once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled and may need to be handled as a return request.

Warranty

Many products may include a manufacturer’s warranty. Manufacturer warranty terms vary depending on the product and brand.

Manufacturer warranties are in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law and do not replace or limit those rights.
