The Canon DR-E17 DC Coupler is a power adapter accessory designed for selected Canon cameras that use the LP-E17 battery system. Instead of powering the camera from a normal battery, the coupler allows the camera to run from AC power when used together with the compatible Canon CA-PS700 AC Adapter.

This is a very useful accessory for creators who shoot for long periods indoors, especially for live streaming, product recording, studio video, interviews, tutorials, time-lapse work and extended content creation. It helps reduce the need to stop and change batteries during longer shooting sessions.

The DR-E17 is a practical add-on for Canon users who want a cleaner continuous-power setup for compatible Canon cameras. Please note that the Canon CA-PS700 AC Adapter is required for operation and should be purchased separately if it is not already included in the customer’s setup.
