The Canon PowerShot SX740 HS is a compact travel camera designed for photographers who want powerful zoom performance without carrying interchangeable lenses. Its 20.3MP CMOS sensor and DIGIC 8 image processor capture detailed photographs with natural colours, while the lightweight body is easy to carry throughout the day.

A versatile 40x optical zoom provides a 24–960mm equivalent focal range, allowing you to photograph everything from landscapes and family moments to wildlife, sporting events and distant landmarks. Optical image stabilisation helps reduce camera shake when shooting handheld or using longer focal lengths.

The camera also supports 4K video recording, fast continuous shooting and a 180-degree tilting LCD that is convenient for selfies and travel vlogging. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth allow images to be transferred to a compatible smartphone through the Canon Camera Connect app.
