The Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary for Sony E is a compact, lightweight standard zoom lens designed for APS-C Sony mirrorless cameras. With a 27-75mm full-frame equivalent range, it is ideal for everyday photography, travel, portraits, street scenes, lifestyle content, events and video work.

Its constant F2.8 aperture gives stronger low-light performance than typical kit lenses and helps create smooth background separation for portraits and close-up details. The lens also offers impressive close-focusing ability, reaching as close as 12.1cm at the wide end for creative product shots, food photography and small subject details.

Despite its bright aperture, the lens remains very portable at only 290g for the Sony E-mount version. Fast and quiet autofocus makes it suitable for both stills and video, while the compact design pairs especially well with Sony APS-C bodies such as the A6000 series, ZV-E10 series and other E-mount crop-sensor cameras.
