Its 50.1MP full-frame stacked Exmor RS CMOS sensor and powerful BIONZ XR image processor deliver outstanding detail, wide dynamic range and fast sensor readout. The camera can capture full-resolution images at up to 30 frames per second with continuous autofocus and auto exposure tracking, helping photographers record fast and unpredictable action with precision.
A dedicated AI processing unit improves recognition and tracking of people, animals, birds, insects, cars, trains and aircraft. Human pose estimation allows the camera to maintain focus even when a subject’s face is partially hidden, turned away from the camera or temporarily obstructed.
For professional filmmaking, the Alpha 1 II supports internal 8K recording, 4K video at up to 120p and 10-bit 4:2:2 colour. S-Log3, HLG and user-importable LUT support provide greater flexibility for cinematic colour workflows.
Up to 8.5 stops of five-axis in-body image stabilisation helps produce sharper handheld photographs and smoother video. Dual CFexpress Type A and SD card slots, a full-size HDMI connection, high-speed wired LAN and professional wireless transfer options make the Alpha 1 II suitable for fast professional delivery workflows.
