The Sony Alpha 7R V is a professional high-resolution full-frame mirrorless camera designed for commercial photography, landscapes, portraits, weddings, fashion, architecture and detailed studio work.
Its 61.0MP back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor captures exceptional detail, wide tonal information and accurate colour, making the camera particularly suitable for large prints, professional retouching and extensive image cropping. The advanced BIONZ XR processor provides fast operation, improved image processing and responsive overall performance.
A dedicated AI processing unit significantly improves subject recognition and autofocus tracking. The camera can identify people through human pose estimation and also recognises animals, birds, insects, cars, trains and aircraft, helping photographers maintain reliable focus during complex shooting situations.
Five-axis in-body image stabilisation provides up to 8 stops of compensation, allowing sharper handheld photography with high-resolution lenses. Continuous shooting at up to 10 frames per second with autofocus and auto exposure tracking provides additional flexibility for wildlife, events and moving subjects.
For video production, the Alpha 7R V supports internal 8K recording at up to 25p and 4K recording at up to 60p with 10-bit 4:2:2 colour. S-Log3, HLG, breathing compensation and 16-bit RAW output through HDMI make it a capable hybrid camera for professional filmmaking.
The four-axis multi-angle touchscreen combines tilting and side-opening movement, while the high-resolution 9.44-million-dot electronic viewfinder provides a detailed and natural viewing experience. Dual card slots support both CFexpress Type A and UHS-II SD memory cards for professional backup and recording workflows.
