The Sony Alpha 9 II is a professional full-frame mirrorless camera engineered for sports, wildlife, news, events and fast-paced commercial photography. Its 24.2MP stacked Exmor RS CMOS sensor delivers exceptionally fast readout performance, allowing photographers to capture decisive moments with minimal distortion and uninterrupted viewing.
Blackout-free continuous shooting at up to 20 frames per second with the electronic shutter provides a clear and continuous view of moving subjects. The mechanical shutter supports shooting at up to 10 frames per second and can be used with professional flash systems when required.
The advanced Fast Hybrid Autofocus system combines 693 phase-detection points with 425 contrast-detection points, covering approximately 93% of the image area. Real-time Tracking and Real-time Eye AF help maintain accurate focus on people and animals during unpredictable movement.
Five-axis in-body image stabilisation provides up to 5.5 stops of compensation for sharper handheld photography. The camera also records detailed 4K video using full-pixel readout without pixel binning and supports Full HD slow-motion recording at up to 120 frames per second.
Designed for professional workflows, the Alpha 9 II includes dual UHS-II SD card slots, high-speed Gigabit Ethernet, FTP transfer, 5GHz Wi-Fi and USB-C connectivity.
